E-KYC & Account Opening · Paperless onboarding
An account opened in one sitting.
PAN, Aadhaar and bank verification, in-person verification by video and e-signature — a paperless account opened in a single session and filed straight into the back office.
The drop-off in account opening is not the form. It is the day between the form and somebody getting back to the applicant.
- PAN, Aadhaar and bank
- Video IPV and e-sign
In plain words
What E-KYC & Account Opening actually is.
Account opening is where a broker loses the client they already paid to acquire. Every step that leaves the applicant waiting — a document re-uploaded, a verification done the next morning, a signature posted — is a point at which somebody else’s app finishes first.
This module closes the whole thing in one sitting: identity verified against the source, the bank account checked, the in-person verification done over video, and the form signed electronically — arriving in the back office as a filed account rather than as a task for somebody.
What you get
Four things it does, and what is behind each.
Every line below names something that can be shown in a walkthrough. If one of them cannot be, we would rather you found out in the hour than after the signature.
Verified, not typed
PAN, Aadhaar and bank account checked against the source rather than read off an upload and re-keyed by a clerk.
- PAN verification
- Aadhaar-based identity
- Penny-drop bank check
IPV over video
In-person verification completed as a recorded video session, with the artefact retained the way the obligation requires.
- Recorded video IPV
- Retained for inspection
- No branch visit
Signed electronically
The account opening form e-signed at the end of the same session, so nothing is posted and nothing waits on a courier.
- Aadhaar e-sign
- Signed in-session
- Nothing posted
Filed, not queued
The completed account lands in the back office as a client master with its documents attached, rather than as a folder for somebody to key in.
- Straight into the books
- Documents attached
- Exception queue for the rest
Common questions
The ones that come up on the first call.
If yours is not here, it is a better use of an hour than a slide deck — bring it to a walkthrough.
What happens when a verification fails?
It goes to an exception queue with the reason on it, rather than dropping the applicant back to the start. That queue is the part of this module that earns its keep — the accounts it recovers are ones that would otherwise be lost silently.
Can we use our own KYC vendor?
Usually, yes. Tell us who you use at the walkthrough. Where the interface is one we can reach, the module drives it.
